Welcome to September! This is that time of year when summer starts to fade and fall takes center stage. I especially love this time of year because it causes us to start reflecting on the past year’s accomplishments and setting goals for the upcoming new year.

For me, things are pretty busy at the moment, and for that I am grateful!

As you might have heard me screaming from the rooftops, my first book, “The Designer Within: A Professional Guide to a Well-Styled Home,” is on sale now! This book was a true labor of love that was almost two years in the making. I have an entirely new perspective and respect for authors and all of the work that goes into writing their books. Even though my book is also a coffee table book full of gorgeous project photos, I did take considerable care in writing all of the tips and tricks that I use on every project.

One thing in particular that I hope you take away is my passion and drive for my chosen career… I truly love creating beautiful and comfortable spaces for our clients and I always put my heart and soul into every project that we are fortunate enough to take on. I hope that sharing my design process that is utilized on every single project is also helpful to you. These are the simple steps that we take to bring a design project from start to finish. The best part? You can do the same steps on your own projects for guaranteed success.
